The winner was the Australian airline Qantas, because it always arrives at its destination safely and on time. Qantas is considered the most experienced and reliable airline in aviation, according to data from a company that measures flight safety.
Last year, the New Zealand airline Air Newzealand got the title, and this year it was in second place. Etihad Airways of the United Emirates took third place and Qatar Airways was awarded fourth place.
OXO World has just released its annual list of the world’s 20 safest airlines. The list ranks the largest and best-known carriers—as well as the safest low-cost airlines.
